O’Rourke Petroleum is a Houston-based business that was formed in 1932 as a Sinclair gas station.  Since then, we have grown into a multi-million dollar business with over 80 employees.

O’Rourke is a family as much as a business, and is still owned and managed by the founder’s son, Dennis O’Rourke. Unlike some family owned businesses, we have formal systems in place that cover planning, employee development, and continuous improvement.  We invest a lot of resources in professional development and every employee is enrolled in O’Rourke U, our internal training and development program.
